I am an engineer by formal education. I am a breast cancer survivor by God’s grace. While my kids were growing up, I was a stay-at-home mom by choice. In short, I am just an ordinary person wanting to experience more of God’s extraordinary in life. And did I mention that I like to write? To write about life: to grasp the deeper meanings in the good and bad that comes my way and to share my unique faith journey. By doing so, I hope to encourage you to find God’s unexpected joy for your life.
I can be contacted at snowdrops4faith@gmail.com.
Blessings,

Thanks for such an encouraging blog. It is good to meet another breast cancer survivor who is using her testimony to reach out and encourage others in their faith.

Vicky, I have to admit that it was a step out of my comfort zone to talk about something so personal as breast cancer. God used it to open doors for sharing about His grace that I would not have been able to otherwise. I have come full circle as I am now involved with a ministry, Cancer Hope, that serves cancer patients and their families. Thanks for stopping by to visit.

So wonderful that you think of others Debbie and take an interest in their lives too. I was blessed when you visited to encourage and uplift me, Thank you.
I had suspected Breast Cancer, and went to the Doctor on the Tuesday after finding it on the Monday, I had received an e-mail about checking our Breasts for Cancer and how to do it, God sent it I’m sure. The Doctor felt it was very advanced and she booked me into have the Mammogram and Ultra Sound but Friday was the earliest appointment she could get for me. It was almost a week to wait and having just lost my Sister Julie because of Bowel Cancer, I was a mess but on the Thursday I said to God; if this is how my life is going to end on earth than I’m ready to come to be with You and I than experienced the most wonderful Peace, I no longer felt frightened.
When the woman was doing the tests the next day, she was taking so long I asked what was wrong, she had a diagram from my Doctor showing where the lump was but she said she couldn’t find it.
That was over 5 years ago Debbie and all my Mammograms have been clear since and I have had no more lumps and just like the other life threatening conditions I have been healed from, it has never returned but if it did, I know who to go to for Peace.

Anne…. Yes! I prayed for the big miracle you described. I didn’t receive it, but I knew in my heart that God could do it! (See my post titled, “Lord, Please Give Me the Big Miracle in Category 2-Breast Cancer.) No wonder you loudly proclaim and praise our God. Your life is miraculous in huge ways! 🙂

I’m still disabled Debbie in my feet which are painful at times and I also suffer from the affects of foolish and dangerous dieting that I did as a teenager, God has given me a Balm that helps with the pain but I’m not healed completely although I have been healed miraculously as I shared before.
I also believe God heals in many ways, even if some don’t give Him the Thanks. He uses tools such as Doctors , Medicine and Natural remedies but He is the only Healer, even if some use deception and tricky, Satan cannot do good and only God can do the impossible.
I would appreciate your link Debbie to Please Give Me the Big Miracle.
Blessings -Anne

Anne, I will send you an e-mail with the link. I tried to put it in here, but it didn’t work and I am not smart enough to make it work cleanly! 😦

Hi Debbie! I agree with what Ruth said. I by the same grace, like you, am a breast cancer survivor! Sisters in more ways than one! 🙂

Unfortunately, there are too many in the family of breast cancer survivors. I much prefer the family of God! I hope all is well with you. I am past the 4 year mark and cancer is behind me (in the name and authority of Jesus!)

I will have to visit “longer” on your blog! Donna’s blog is similar to yours in that it covers a lot of territory from the spiritual to the everyday seemingly mundane (with doses of subtle humor.)
