May we know who we are in Jesus Christ. May we rejoice for who we have become in Him.
1 Corinthians 13:12
Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
May we anticipate the fullness of who we are meant to be in Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 3:18
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
May we reflect Christ despite the shadows of this world.
Proverbs 27:19
As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
Beautiful Debbie, I loved how you matched the words with the Pictures, they brought life to them, thank you for the assurance in your words too, God chose us to be conformed into the image of Jesus and we will be, as Christ lives His life in us.
Galatians 2: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who Loved me, and gave Himself for me.(KJV)

Anne… When we took the pictures in Florida, I wasn’t thinking of this post. However, once I reviewed all the pictures back home, I saw the the theme of reflections (and Part 2: Shadows in an upcoming post!) In my quiet time with God, He kept bringing verses to mind to go with the pictures! Galatians 2:20, a prayer we need to say every day! (Edited.)

Yes I understand Debbie, God often talks through us to His Children and through them to us, as Jesus teaches us all Truth and like your words what ever He shares with us is confirmed in Scripture.
Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)
Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you shall go. I will guide you with Mine eye.
Christian Love from both of us – Anne

I would appreciate you using my Christian name Debbie, like I use yours and as you did before. Freedomborn is my Blog Name and also it’s focus. I know others choose to use Blog Names but I don’t, if we are a Christian Family we need to be open with each other, I always sign Anne as you can see, it’s more personal.
Thank you – Anne

My apologies Anne. It takes me a while to get to know names. Now that we have “talked,” I will remember your name. (Personally, I prefer Anne over Freedomborn! :))
